The collection

What's on the bench right now

A small, rotating selection. Everything here is printed to order — tell me the color, the size, and how shiny you want it. Most orders are ready in three to five days.

Any piece, any color

Everything on this page prints in whatever color you want — pick from what's already on the spool rack, or send a reference and I'll get as close as the plastic allows.

Crystal Dragon

From $35

Crystal-effect PLA

A fully articulated spine — every vertebra moves — under a faceted scale pattern that catches light like cut glass. Shown in cobalt and glacier; also runs in amethyst, emerald, and a color-shift silk that never looks the same twice.

Night Fury

From $12

Matte black PLA

Hinged wings that fold, a tail that curls, and printed-in-place joints that need no assembly. The green eyes and the small flame are painted by hand once the print comes off the plate.

Ask about this piece

Harry Potter Hat

From $10

Wood-composite filament

Printed in a filament that's roughly a third real wood fibre, then sanded back through the grits and rubbed with oil until the layer lines read like grain in old timber. A quiet piece — it just sits on a shelf and looks like it was carved.

The Pot Leaf Ashtray

From $8

PLA or PETG, your call

A leaf pressed into the bottom of a round ashtray, with a matching lid that keeps the smell down when it's not in use. Shown in green; it'll print in just about any color you've got in mind.

The Dumplin' Clicker

From $10

Two-tone PLA

A steamed-bun face on a lidded little box — good for rings, hair ties, whatever needs a home on a shelf. The two colors print in one go, so there's no painting to chip off later.

Ask about this piece

Bone Crusher

From $20

PLA

Every link comes off the plate already connected — no assembly, no glue. Pull it, twist it, drape it off a shelf. The hands and the shell piece print from the same file, so the whole thing reads as one bone-white sculpture.

Ask about this piece

The Grinch

From $25

Matte green PLA

A single-piece figure, no supports to clean up and nothing to glue — it comes off the plate ready to sit on a shelf exactly like this, scowl and all. Small enough for a desk, a tree, or a stocking.

Ask about this piece

From $10

Two-tone PLA

The Hogwarts crest wing and the wordmark print as one piece, no assembly — yellow and black in a single pass, sanded flat on the back so it sits flush on a shelf or desk.

Ask about this piece

Monkey

From $10

Silk PLA

A small sitting monkey in a color-shift silk filament that swings between violet and copper depending on the light. No assembly, no paint — the shine is all in the plastic.

How it's made

A day and a half, mostly waiting

  1. 01

It starts as an argument with the slicer

Orientation, supports, where the seam lands. Get this wrong and you find out sixteen hours later. Get it right and the print almost finishes itself.

  2. 02

Then the machine runs, and runs

0.12 mm layers for the detailed pieces, one nozzle laying plastic at 210 °C for most of a day. I check it, I leave it alone, I check it again.

  3. 03

The last hour is all hands

Supports off, edges sanded, joints worked loose, paint where a piece needs it. This is the part that decides whether it feels handmade or just printed.

The person

Darrel Williams

Extreme 3D Printing started in a spare room with one printer and a lot of failed first attempts. It's still a small operation — me, a shelf of spools, and a few machines that run most nights.

I take commissions. Bring me a model, a photo, or just an idea, and I'll tell you honestly whether it'll print well and what it'll cost. No minimums, no rush fees for reasonable timelines.
